Welcome to Rosewood VA

I am very excited to share with you my first blog post as Rosewood VA. I, Deanna Simone, have long thought about starting my own business in Online Strategies, but never did I think that this day would come so soon.

We meet people everyday and some may surprise us with the impact they have on our path in life.  I have been extremely fortunate in having been introduced to Joanne Burgess. Joanne is a Social Media Expert, having her own business in York Region for 25 years. It is now time for Joanne to put her feet up as she will be ending this entrepreneurial chapter of her life on December 31st and starting a new adventure in her well-earned retirement.  Joanne has genially taken me under her wing and entrusted me with some of her vast knowledge of online strategies.  She has also introduced me to several of her clients to whom I promise to uphold the same level of commitment shown by Joanne.

Helping Small Businesses in York Region with Online Marketing Services

Rosewood VA will officially be open for business on January 1st, 2016.  Similar to Joanne, I am dedicated to helping small businesses in York Region, primarily in the health & wellness, fitness and eco-friendly industries not only manage and maintain their online presence, but also optimize their reach to new business opportunities.  By supporting small businesses in this niche I hope to extend their reach within our community. All this to help build a stronger, healthier and happier community as a whole.

I am a graduate of the University of Toronto with an Honors BA in Linguistics & French and have been providing I.T. Services since 2011.  My background in Customer Service, Marketing and Technical Support has prepared me for the diverse aspects of business branding through websites and social media streams.  With this complex skill set I can convey the technical “jargon” relative to my clients’ business plans in terms they can understand, interpret and apply to meet their specific business goals.  On a more personal note, I love to read, travel the world, cook for friends and family. I also enjoy staying up to date with new technology strategies and trends.
